We highly recommend bringing the following items to be fully prepared for all activities:
Please note: The tap water in Malta is safe to drink.
We will be providing a beach bag, sunscreen and after-sun for you and your guest, so there's no need to pack these. Beach towels are provided by the hotel for each guest, so there’s no need to bring your own. If you do take them offsite, please remember to return them.
The limestone pavements in Malta can be smooth and slippery. We recommend wearing suitable footwear while walking around the city.
Breakfast is served from 07:00 until 10:00 at the Luciano Restaurant on the 5th floor, where you can also enjoy a 360° panoramic view.
Group lunches are planned on Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th June.
Group dinners are planned on Friday 12th and Monday 15th June.
If you mentioned dietary requirements when registering, these have been considered and the menus will be adapted accordingly.
For lunch and dinners at leisure you can relax with room service, dine at one of the hotel’s three restaurants, or explore some of Malta’s recommended restaurants, bars and sights. We recommend booking in advance, and the concierge at Hotel ME Malta by Meliá will be pleased to help with reservations.
Flights, accommodation, breakfasts, airport–hotel transfers, organised activities, and organised lunches and dinners are covered by the organising team.
For meals taken at leisure, participants are allocated a budget of €100 per person, per meal. These expenses can be submitted via Concur upon return.
In June, Malta typically experiences warm and sunny weather. Daytime temperatures typically range from around 26°C to 30°C, while night time temperatures can drop to around 19°C to 22°C.
The average sea temperature in June is 22–23°C — perfect for swimming!
During the day
For the whole trip, casual and comfortable clothing is recommended. For the activities we have planned, there will be some walking around and we recommend bringing comfortable shoes. There will also be opportunities for swimming on the trip.
Welcome Dinner on Friday, 12 June & Farewell Dinner on Monday, 15 June
Smart casual attire is appropriate for our group dinners, both of which will take place on outdoor terraces: one at the Me Malta By Meliá hotel facing the sea, and the other at Mdina. These will be casual private dinners and there is no expectation to dress in suits or formal dress.
